I am sorry but I am just less optimistic or let’s call it more realistic 😉 The forum has to get its standing and nowadays with competition on lots of channels that takes time. It’s not open again for even year I think.
Post more about topics on Facebook where the older guys like us are still maybe, too 😉 Although the algorithm will likey interfere…
I’m not comparing us to mastodont messageboards like FSM and JWFAN with thousands of members, many of whom have been there for 20+ years, and probably 100 active users, minimum.
Well, it is comparing and it is the same problem. They have thousands of members that also don’t participate much but due to the number the few look like more activity.
There is German board that is lucky to have a handful of posts per day and has the exact same problems. (Yes, I am part of it as I only lurk there as well…)
Maybe more quantity than here. But quality?
Indeed, the plain number of posts should not the primary goal!
