Ugh. I didn’t care for that new SUPERMAN, sorry to say. Unlike you, I’ve always been attracted to his god-like powers (and the moral dilemmas he has to cope with, having them bestowed upon him), and despite some of its occasional silliness, I always preferred the more serious take on the superhero (the original SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE is one of the most important cultural artifacts in my life). This new one was just TOO silly for my taste. Friggin’ dog too.
