My missus loves a good holiday and like Lady Penelope, likes to drag Parker (that’s me m’lady) along for the ride.
Yes, I do go away quite a bit, but I’m just a willing accomplice, honest.
The Caribbean was very nice, although we’ve largely done that tour before (a 4 day cruise around the Windies, 6 days at sea crossing the Atlantic and a stop off in the Canaries and Spain before docking at Southampton (14 nights in all).
One does hit a wall eating and drinking so excessively and I’m enjoying the detox at the moment. The ship has 4 cinemas, showing quite recent stuff and 100s of free films in your cabin and all the football you don’t wanna watch, so it’s hard to get bored during the trip.
I’ve got to wait another 4 weeks now before we fly off to Almeria for a week (during the May bank holiday).
We went there a year ago for my 60th and I fell in love with it, so I want to explore it some more.
It also helps that Lady Penelope is one helluva travel agent ♥️
