La Pianiste is just congenial to reading one of Jelinek’s books. Artful description of a perverted and miserable world. I saw that one, Das Weiße Band and just parts of both Funny Games versions. Somehow I was a bit underwhelmed by The White Ribbon after I was quite impressed by La Pianiste. Maybe I should watch Das Weiße Band again. I have it on DVD.
