    Sounds great!

I’d love to say “Go Start!”, but you know I’m a Jerv supporter. 😉

    The Wolverines 😎

They still have a chance of promotion qualification to level 2.

They do. Seeing them in the “Premier League” a few years back was mental.

    It’s Friday again.

Having a few beers at home, and then meeting some friends for a belated birthday beer at a local pub! On Sunday, I’m watching the women’s cup final (football). Not normally something that interests me, but a friend of mine has secured some VIP passes at the national stadium, with free drinks and food. So I go for that. Any weekend plans?

    Cheers!

Taking it easy until sunday when I go to my local congregation at 11, before meeting SOME of my extended family (I have 6 sisters and 1 brother) at 5.

No big plans here, but I really enjoy such weekends, as I can spend them doing some my favorite activities, like go for a run or a hike, listen to music, read, and watch a movie or a couple of episodes of my favorite TV shows. There’s usually not a lot of time for this during the weekdays. And being somewhat introverted, it’s fine if there aren’t social happenings every weekend. I need that too, of course, but lots of it many weekends in a row can actually make me tired.

I’ll also need to practice a bit on the clarinet, as my orchestra is having a Christmas concert in a few weeks. Music from HOME ALONE is on the program. 🙂

My current medication doesn’t allow any alcohol. So, I am currently on water, coffee and tea. And it is going to remain that way at least until next year.

He he.. nothing this weekend, probably, but when I do have some, it’s usually red wine – that’s definitely my favorite.

    Cheers.

Today’s “Cheers” comes from the island of Fur in Denmark. Don’t know if the video below comes through, but it’s from a couple of hours ago – ordered a local beer at the pub down by the docks. The locals gave me a strange stare as I insisted on consuming it outdoors. Crazy Norwegians!

Weird, it’s nice weather and no rain 😉

    And a whopping 9 degrees Celsius. That’s like a balmy Scandinavian summer day… 😉

About the same here, which means it’s the $%&§ non-descript piece of §%%%” weather that we get in these regions of Germany in the winter. I really don’t like it. No, that’s not quite accurate, it’s not that I don’t like it. I hate it. I mean, I love it when it’s sunny and scorching hot, and I like it when it’s freezing cold, I don’t mind if heavy rain falls, or when it snows like crazy, or whatever, but I can’t stand this undecisive slush… I just hate it. What I dislike, what I hate, what I can’t stand, that is the gray non-descript drizzle weather in the middle, that is not hot, not cold, not stormy, not totally still… just undecided entropy. I can’t stand it. Unfortunately, in the Cologne area of Germany, that’s what you get at this time of the year. There is not winter, there is no fall, there is just six months of a pile of §§%”§ weather. (The other six months you at least tend to get a nice summer though, and we had one this year.) Which is why I try to go on vacation in between at this time of the year. On the good news: no matter what the weather is going to do, chances are, it’s going to get better. 🙂
