Was not aware World War Z is linked to ARMY OF THE DEAD. I saw 28 days/week later and expected sequels not not surpass the originals…

I admit I think I primarily have it on the list because the newer Tangerine Dream leader Thorsten Quaeschning wrote the score Thor mentioned at some time…
I was merely saying that World War Z is better than Snyder’s Army Of The Dead. Snyder completely lost it the moment he started working for Netflix. His Dawn Of The Dead (his first feature movie) is pretty good even though it’s mildly satirical.
I don’t expect much from Cargo but zombies are zombies.

Yeah, his Star Wars rip offs REBEL MOON for example. I think I didn’t even watch the 2nd part and have no real desire to watch the extended cuts (I of course know these originated in ideas for an actual canceled Star Wars movie).
The “Hitchhiker’s” movie was awful. Nothing beats the old BBC mini series.
For “Galaxy Quest” I would claim, it’s not perfect, but at least it is a hundred times better than “Spaceballs” as a parody and comedy.

Yeah, although I am not sure I ever saw that. There is also an old German audioplay which I am not sure I heard but is said to be better.

Decades ago I found SPACEBALLS funny but recently watched some scenes again… If that really needs this coming sequel…

There are several films called CARGO. The one you’re thinking of is a 2018 film about a man trapped in a cargo trailer. Jon reviewed the Thorsten Quaeschning score to that here.
The CARGO Alex was thinking of was the 2017 Netflix zombie film starring Martin Freeman. This is actually an excellent film. Freeman’s realistic, bottled-up acting here, in the face of extraordinary ordeals, really carries it.
But as long as we’re talking films called CARGO, and since this is the sci fi thread, I want to recommend the incredibly underrated, Swiss space film from 2009, by Ivan Engler and Ralph Etter, which is really great. Wonderful atmosphere, a bit like ALIEN, but there are no monsters in it. I wrote a brief review of it in 2011, which can be viewed here, in Google translated form. Heartily, heartily recommended.

Actually I was thinking respectively mistaking it with the Netflix film – labeld on Netflix with 2018 – with Martin Freeman. But sonce I like Freeman I will keep it on my list even if the guys who actually did the score I never heard of 😉
I found the first season of MISSIONS. I love the premise, the effects are OK, the storyline fine (although the episodes on the short side at 20 minutes each). But that crew! Man, I understand what Alex is talking about when he has issues with space crews sometimes. What a bunch of irritating, unrealistic, unsympathetic, unprofessional twats!
