    FSM # 34: March 5, 2002

    Just curious:

Is there a truth to the myth that a soundtrack fan is necessarily also someone who’s not so concerned with his/her looks and the way he/she dresses?

I mean, do we use so much money on soundtracks that we don’t have anything to buy decent clothes for? Do we skip the bimonthly haircut? etc.

I know personally that I am somewhat occupied with appearances, although I cannot afford the most expensive clothes.

So, any socalled “fashion lions” (Norwegian expression) in here?

It’s funny to read the above post again now, 24 years later. From that moment, 2002, and about 10 years on, I was very much into fancy-schmanzy clothes and appearances. Bordering on vain. I spent most of my hard-earned money on attire and accessories, not soundtracks.

Couldn’t be any more different from what it is like today, when I don’t really give a hoot about such things. 😀

Well, I never cared for “fancy clothes” actually, just wanted to look fitting to any occasion. And I often tend to do tri-monthly haircuts and gladly I still have hair to cut at all 😉

True, there’s always a silver lining.
