One of my favourite comedies, this, but somehow it never got a score release. I have vague memories of the music (even though I’ve seen the film probably 6-7 times), as entertaining Africa-meets-West-type grooves, but am very curious to hear it properly. Rodgers is of course a living legend, also outside film music.

I used to like the movie. But it was destroyed by the sequel.

LLL strikes again. I will not be buying this, but get this news out to Nile-fans outside of the film score area and it will surely sell out.

I surely saw the movie back then but don’t remember much. ROdgers BEVERLY HILLS COP 3 had some nice moments with his orchestral arrangments and was partly the best of the movie. Always thought it would be nice on album but then the samples didn’t really grab me…

Some nice samples on CTA, like track 32 with a bit of Harold-style.

When LLL released Beverly Hills Cop 3 not so long ago, I always hoped this little gem might follow. Always liked the film and score. Quite happy to pick this CD up within my next cluster order with Intrada (6-7 titles to make full use of the ridiculous $36 postage!!!).

Yes, I’m kinda digging the samples too. From fullblown West African music to New Jack Swing, which was popular at the time, to romantic orchestral music to that Harold influence in the last track that Jon mentions.
