Nicolai P. ZwarParticipantSadly LP and MC only.
It’s been over 30 years since the last time I’ve heard something like that.

Malte MüllerKeymasterThe LP hype really is strange. Although I get the love for bigger artwork and the prodedure of focussed listening. But MC is really weird, that is a so inferior medium… Actually I thought there were no facilities anymore that produce them?

Thor Joachim HagaKeymasterNever underestimate nostalgia! I’m of the cassette generation myself (meaning I found my own musical identity when they were at their height, between LPs and CDs). So you get it for the object, not the sound.
I think I’ve just vaguely heard of THE WRAITH, but I like the names involved, so I’ll be checking this out if it gets any kind of digital file or streaming release (maybe doubtful).

ParticipantTerror Vision Records have it up on Bandcamp as a pre-order digital album for release on 22nd May:

Thor Joachim HagaKeymasterCool! The two tracks already up didn’t do much for me. Lots of dissonant noodlings, although I quite like the riff that starts at 1:40 in “The Drive and Oggie Race”. Hopefully there’s more like that.

Jon AanensenParticipantThe cassette version is cancelled.

Of course I was as well being a little older and I even still have a few and even a tape player (although I am not sure it is fully working still)!
The cassette version is cancelled.
Probably caused by tape jam 😉

I had a listen to some of the other albums on their Bandcamp site and the two tracks from Obscure Sighs’ THE JAR sounded interesting – shame that there’s no more tracks to sample. And the main title to Jim Manzie’s FROM A WHISPER TO A SCREAM sounded good; though I wasn’t very taken by any of the remaining tracks (save for the end credits).

Руслан32Participant@Jon Aanensen, I think I misled you unintentionally. I need to learn English…) What I meant was that I cancelled my cassette order because I later saw that the label had released the score in digital format.

Руслан32ParticipantI’m so excited that this score is finally being released! I’ve loved it since I saw the film.
I had the isolated tracks version from the 2021 Blu-ray release. Interestingly, the official release offers 38 minutes of music, while the Blu-ray edition had 28 minutes.
I’m really looking forward to May 22nd!29. April 2026 at 23:01 #10567
