Shame there are no Swedes in this forum, now that they’re playing (extremely lucky against France, btw, even though it’s 0-1….should have been 0-4!). No Danes, Finns or Icelanders either, for that matter. Disappointing.

I don’t think he does in the League, playing for City (I’ve certainly never noticed it if he does).
Yes, it’s hard to see past France at this moment. No other team comes close to their passing/movement and finishing.
And they have the best three forwards since Brazil 2002, with Rivaldo, Ronaldo and Ronaldhino – as has been pointed out a few times by commentators.
Messi will have to do something spectacular to keep Mbappé behind him on the alltime top scorer list. I don’t think he will, due to the age difference. Has Klose said anything about being overtaken on that list?
England struggling again. Besides the Croatia match, they’ve been completely off compared to what we’re used to. Painful for someone like me, who’s always been a fan.

We have Belgium coming up now, against Senegal who Norway beat 3-2 in the group match. I can never remember if A24 is Belgian or Dutch, but I know that Bregt and Thomas Glorieux are Belgian. Would love some input from them, but alas, they don’t post.

God, that felt good. Paraguay was like those East Bloc countries back in the day. Lousy ref, he should have handed out a handful of reds to the Paraguayans. This was a victory for football.
Yes, weird first half. Brazil playing very low, relying on counterattacks when they grab the ball. Norway passing the ball a lot, but struggling to find their way through. Mostly backwards passes. They’re too cautious, because of those lethal counterattacks by Brazil. I hope we dare a bit more in the second half.
