I finally got to see this decent 1985 TV movie, only because Hammer scored it. The score was varied and quite important in the film. Some lyrical and poetic melodic piano stuff, some source material for discotheque scenes, something a bit similar to Russian Night from Snapshots, and even some material with loud military percussion coupled with MIAMI VICE-sequencers.

Could have been a 30-minute or so album.

There was even a sequel in 1994, scored by Robert Folk.

    Full movie:

Alas, I don’t have time to prioritize watching crummy ol’ VHS tapings of random obscure 80s TV films, amidst everything else on my watch list, but I did play the opening credits. Quite nice indeed. Do you want to update the entry on your Hammer filmography now that you’ve seen it?

    An update is ok.

Yeah, thte watch list that doesn’t get shorter has the same issue like the listening list 😉

Youtube is really great to sometimes find such obscure old stuff. Never heard of this one before but sounds indeed a bit like some MIAMI VICE tracks.

Youtube is FANTASTIC for things like that. Lots of films I would never had got to see if it wasn’t for youtube.
