Wow, good old Bohlen.
Some instrumentals on the soundtrack, where he called himself Countdown GTO.
Yes I love THE STAND score, also because I love the series.
No rule without exception..
SECRETARIAT – Nick Glennie-Smith
Not a big blues fan myself. I think it all sounds the same..
Annoying? I don’t think so.
Andrew Gold was also in 80s pop group WAX.
I love the shoegaze genre. This is a new band from Malaysia (!), sounding ace.
Her collaboration with Zimmer and Trevor Horn.
I prefer them to Enya because of their band setup including drums and guitars.
I don’t think Clannad is that folksy. They often used synths in a very nice way, and was very successful in that pop/new age landscape. Lore from 1996 has many highlights.
I just can’t stop playing this. Ticks all my boxes.
RIP Maire Brennan from Clannad.
7/10
Yes I have played it. It’s good fun.
I have also bought the soundtrack edition, but haven’t played that one yet.Wow, I hope that interview comes to fruition. His “1000 Lys” from DRΓMMESLOTTET is one of the best norwegian score tracks ever.
Did you talk with him?
Not particularly good.

Mostly true. Pure orchestral music is not my cup of tea.
Even Dieter Bohlen of Modern Talking fame scored an episode of Derrick, in 1989. π
Oh, adamski sounds familiar, had to look up though and apparently only knew that hit βKillerβ. Which is the type of music I hated back then π This track sounds much more advanced.
Yes not bad for a 24-year old in 1992 π

9. April 2026 at 17:05 in reply to: Are there film score albums where you like just one track? #9943Sure, many soundtracks have only one decent track, often tbe main theme. Some of those 30-minute Varese albuns from the 90s for instance.
And Michel Rubini’s NEMESIS.

I like some of his 80s synth/jazz scores, like this:
I recently bought his Cinemagic CD, haven’t played it yet.
I thought this is just a thread of what weβre listening to at the moment, not separated by genre?
Sigh…it was just a joke pointing back to the FSM situation some years ago when the now playing thread got flooded with classical and jazz, and very little other things.
Faltermeier is the original spelling.
Also fun that Florian is Hans Zimmer’s middle-name π
Added it later.
See above
Hey Thor, classical and jazz taking over again! π
