I noticed the new THE TORN CURTAIN coming out in my side vision. I think I had both the original Addison and one of the Herrmann rerecordings at some point, but not anymore. Wonder what happened to them?
I have to say that this year’s nominees weren’t much to write home about either. Didn’t like any of them, although I suppose THE WILD ROBOT was the least uninteresting.
I think it was mostly people in Canada not getting their CD(?), but I think it’s slowly starting to arrive there now too.
Like you, I always also thought it was supporting the project that mattered, not that you would get the product before anyone else.
Yes, the Goldsmith book and the Young/NOSFERATU project all got into trouble. The former moreso than the latter.
Fortunately for me, I never had the money to partake anyway, but I feel bad for those who did. I see now that Lukas wants to Kickstart a new FSM page as well.
