Just looked: It is not possible to restrict a topic. Weindeed would need to setup a separate forum that is set to “not public”.
Gee, the trouble does not stop it seems. Although you normally don’t really need a free virus/securitty scanner on a Mac I have one installed as a precaution (looking at Windows guys ;-)). I now even get a security warning about accessing the FSM site and its not any simple SSL certificate issue. I literally never saw this before anywhere else… Does anyone else get this, too?
Dynasty is a great theme. Big fan of Mike Post so things like ROCKFORD FILES, MAGNUM P.I. but also Schifrins MISSION IMPOSSIBLE or Patrick Williams’s STREETS OF SAN FRANSICSO are great. I am socialize with that area as they were on TV here with some years delay so these 70s/early 80s crime themes always get me. Still a collector of TV themes I like.
You could of course answer very generally so you don’t expose too much “the net” doesn’t know already anyway 😉 But good idea. On the next ocasion I will take a look if this forum plugin does allow private topics for members only. Might be that we need a separate subforum for that.

Indeed, really surprising since Disney melks the franchise otherwise.

Yeah, they really launched way too early. In Germany we call products like this “banana products” sarcastically because it only matures with the user 😉
Ah, thanks, I know that channel and watch it every now and then, too. Will watch it later. “Der Harald Glööckler des Films” sounds already hard, probably no one outside Germany understands that 😉
Talking about Desplat. Just listened to a German review of Del Toro’s Frankenstein where the critic called Desplat “the talentless son of Tschaikowsky and Johann Strauss” and his music in that movie “might be good enough for candy commercials but that’s it”.
Always kind of funny when film scores and composers are mentioned over here, if at all. Still so often with some snobism like that. Have it on my notification list on Netflix.

but a lot of the experience was ruined by Giacchino’s godawful music.
I didn’t find Giacchino’s score that awful. Actually one of his better ones as most of his film scores also leave me rather cold (after being nearly a fan at his beginning and especially LOST), although certainly not the same leve las Williams or even Powell’s SOLO.
Didn’t know about the back and forth of WOLFMAN. Haslinger would surely have been quite different. Also didn’t know about WATERWORLD. The JNH is indeed a good one.
