I have the Adventures of Robin Hood and the Batman film score guides from Scarecrow Press. It’s kind of arbitrary that I got these two specific titles, as I stumbled over them quite discounted. Haven’t read much in them yet.

I see, although I was referring to the playing, not the sound. Some of their older recordings give the impression they only had time/budget for one take, with little time for practising.

Does this Silva/Prague box contain only newish recordings, or do they go all the way back to the 80s/90s when this team produced a lot of shoddy recordings?
